MOSCOW, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Russia's benchmark RTS1-Interfax
share index fell 8.99 percent on Monday to 120.91, its lowest
level in more than two years, on a tiny volume of $15.19
million.
The last time the index closed at such a low level was on
May 22, 1996, when it hit 116.18 on volume of $19 million.
Russian shares have come under pressure from weak
international markets and steep falls in Russia's domestic and
foreign debt, traders said.
