MOSCOW, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Russian Prime Minister Sergei
Kiriyenko said on Wednesday monetary policy would remain
unchanged despite the latest sharp slide on financial markets,
Russian news agencies said.
"There will be no changes in the monetary policy of the
central bank and government," Itar-Tass news agency quoted
Kiriyenko as saying at the start of a one-day visit to the Urals
city of Perm.
