MOSCOW, Aug 21 (Reuters) - The State Duma, Russia's lower
house of parliament, on Friday passed a resolution calling for
President Boris Yeltsin to quit over an acute economic crisis.
A total of 248 deputies voted for the resolution, which is
a non-binding recommendation and is likely to be dismissed by
the Kremlin. Thirty-two deputies voted against it.
